KnockList Support

Tell us what happened, which organization or campaign you are working with, and whether the problem affects invited access, assigned field work, routes, synchronization, privacy, account deletion, or security. Do not email voter-file rows or sensitive doorstep details.

Contact support

Email is the active support path during the KnockList pilot. We acknowledge ordinary requests within two business days and prioritize lockouts, active-shift failures, privacy requests, and suspected security incidents.

Include these details

  • Your name and work email.
  • The organization, campaign, and assigned turf, if relevant.
  • Device type and KnockList version.
  • What you expected, what happened, and the approximate time.
  • Whether work is still pending offline. Do not delete the app before support confirms a safe recovery path.

Assignment and data questions

The mobile Field Companion does not import files. Ask your organization's authorized contact to confirm the source, license or public-record authority, jurisdiction, approved fields, retention date, and assignment. KnockList support cannot approve a data source or override a prohibited field on behalf of a campaign.

Maps and routes

The first mobile release does not request the operator's device location. It displays campaign-assigned stops and road-route geometry. A user may choose to open a stop in the device platform's external mapping app; that service and connectivity can affect turn-by-turn directions, while saved stops and outcomes remain separate.

Sync and lost devices

Check the pending-operation count before signing out or reinstalling. If a phone or tablet is lost, an organization manager should revoke the device immediately and contact support. Revocation prevents new downloads; assigned offline data is purged according to the device's next contact and assignment-expiry controls.

Pilot access and billing

The first U.S. Field Companion is planned as a free public download and does not expose self-service billing. Campaign records still require an authorized team invitation. Contact support if you need pilot access; do not send campaign records by email.

Security and urgent privacy issues

If you suspect cross-campaign access, a protected address, a lost device, an unauthorized export, or data that should not have been assigned, stop using the affected data and email the KnockList security contact. Do not include voter-file rows, doorstep outcomes, or sensitive field notes.
